MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was being held on a $50,000 bond on Monday in the Riley County Jail following his Sunday arrest in Manhattan in connection with burglary, violating a protection order and possession of marijuana, officials said.
The arrested man was identified as 33-year-old DeVanta DeShaun Walker, 33, of Manhattan.
Riley County police said the incident occurred around 5:24 p.m. Sunday, with a 33-year-old woman listed as the victim and a known man — later identified as Walker — listed as the suspect.

Officers arrested Walker around 5:44 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Yuma Street in Manhattan.
Walker was subsequently booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with: aggravated burglary; violation of a protection order — condition of pre-trial orders; violation of a protection order — stalking-sexual assault-human trafficking; and possession of marijuana.
Walker was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remained in the Riley County Jail on Monday morning, officials said.
