NYPD says more than 12 people were seen arriving, descending, and leaving a pair of Brooklyn manholes Thursday and Friday. PIX11 reported that at least seven people were seen entering sewers near McDonald Avenue and Colin Place in Gravesend around 11 p.m. Thursday and emerging around 2 a.m. Friday. The 62nd Precinct posted on Facebook about the incident, saying authorities conducted a thorough investigation and completed their sweep. Another report said eight people were seen entering a manhole near Heyward Street and Bedford Avenue around 1 a.m. before leaving by automobile at 4 a.m.
