Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is back in the city after a coast-to-coast tour. The company returns to the Brooklyn Academy of Music this week with a program that includes a new production of “Hymn,” Judith Jamison’s tribute to Alvin Ailey.
The production is returning to the stage for the first time in more than 15 years.
The engagement also marks artistic director Alicia Graf Mack’s first season leading the organization. Graf Mack joined “Mornings On 1” to discuss the program.
