On Sunday, stop by Union Square Park for Petco Love’s Pet Adoption Block Party and meet over 400 cats, dogs, and small companion pets that are up for adoption.

The one-day free event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“One of the most meaningful moments is seeing a pet find their person and begin a bond that can change both of their lives,” said Chelsea Staley, Petco Love President. “By bringing together our shelter and rescue partners for New York City’s favorite summer block party, we’re creating more opportunities for pets to find loving homes while celebrating the lifesaving work happening here every day.”
There will be music, mobile adoption units, vendors, and vendor giveaways throughout the day.
Outside pets are allowed at the event; however, pet owners must make sure they are up to date with vaccinations and on a leash or in a pet carrier.
Individuals interested in adopting must bring a valid photo ID and proof of current address.
