STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Applications for cannabis and liquor sale licenses, as well as new fast-food restaurant construction on Staten Island are among the topics up for discussion at public Community Board meetings this week.

Community Board 1
Community Board 1 will hold a virtual Land Use Public Hearing on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m..
On the agenda is a special permit for the construction of a McDonald’s Restaurant at 5 Wheeler Ave., formerly 2010 Victory Blvd., Meiers Corners, with an accessory drive-through.
There will also be a discussion about extending the term of a perviously granted variance for an automotive service station at 194 Brighton Ave., New Brighton. The Goodhue Bottalico Service Station is listed as being located at that address.

Community Board 2 has no meetings scheduled this week.
Community Board 3
On Wednesday, Nov. 5, there will be a public hearing of the Traffic & Transportation Committee at 6:30 p.m. with no set agenda.
Also on Nov. 5, a community alliance public hearing will be held at 7 p.m
On the agenda are New York State Liquor Authority Liquor License Applications and temporary retail permits for the following businesses:
FF&G Restaurant Inc., 4126 Hylan Blvd., Great KillsArden Genki Sushi Inc., 262 Arden Ave., Eltingville
Also on the agenda is an application for a retail cannabis location through the state Office of Cannabis Management for East End Ventures I LLC, 3295 Richmond Ave., Eltingville.
