Spectrum News NY1 will host a debate on Wednesday, June 3, featuring three Democratic candidates for the seat in New York’s 7th Congressional District.

The district includes parts of Brooklyn and Queens.

There is no incumbent in the race. Rep. Nydia Velázquez, who has served in Congress since 1993, will not seek reelection.

The candidates who will participate in the debate are Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, state Assemblywoman Claire Valdez and Queens Councilwoman Julie Won. 

The debate will air at 7 p.m.

Viewers will also be able to watch for free on Spectrum News NY1’s digital platforms.
