Record collectors, crate diggers and music enthusiasts will have a new destination this month as VinylCon! makes its New York City debut at Industry City.
The traveling record fair, which has already hosted events in cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Atlanta, will arrive in Brooklyn on June 13 and 14, bringing more than 50 vendors from around the country under one roof.
Organizers said attendees can expect tens of thousands of records spanning genres, eras and formats, creating opportunities for both seasoned collectors and newcomers to explore the growing world of vinyl.

“It’s no secret that records are hot right now and younger people are resonating with the analog experience,” he said. “VinylCon! is designed to be welcoming and engaging for the ‘vinyl-curious’ newcomers but also pass the the smell test for the veteran collectors with more discerning tastes.”
Founded in Philadelphia in 2024, the organization has expanded rapidly into a multi-city event series focused on connecting collectors, independent vendors, record labels, DJs and music fans through a shared appreciation for physical media and music discovery. In recent years, vinyl records have “surpassed $1 billion,” according to the Recording Industry Association of America.
Waldfogel added that New York has been a longtime target destination for the event.
“The response we’ve seen around the country has been incredible, and New York always felt like an important city for us,” he said. “There’s such a deep culture around records here, and we’re excited to finally bring VinylCon! to Brooklyn.”

Throughout the weekend, the event will feature vinyl DJs. giveaways, brand activations and food and drink. The DJ lineup includes Arthur Baker, Edan, Large Professor, Boogie Blind, DJ Prestige and more.

The event will be held in space 5-2-A at Sunset Park’s Industry City, and ticket options vary based on entry time. On June 13, attendees can purchase early-entry admission for $37.75, available from 10 a.m., granting early access before general admission. Standard Saturday admission starts at noon for $17.78, while late-entry tickets beginning at 3 p.m. are available for $12. Sunday’s event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with admission priced at $12.
