Summer movie nights are returning to Brooklyn’s waterfront as Brooklyn Bridge Park has announced the 2026 lineup for its annual Movies with a View series, presented by Persol.
Now in its 26th year, the popular free outdoor movie series in Brooklyn Bridge Park will once again transform Pier 1’s Harbor View Lawn into an open-air cinema overlooking the Manhattan skyline and New York Harbor. Organizers are also expanding the program this year with an additional family-friendly screening scheduled for September.

Each screening at Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn begins at sunset, with the lawn opening at 6 p.m. Admission is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Eric Landau, Brooklyn Bridge Park president, acknowledged that the event’s growth led to the expansion.
“We’re really excited to expand the series this year, kicking off Fourth of July weekend, and adding an extra film night in September, perfect for family film night with the earlier sunset,” he said. “Movies With A View has grown into a beloved summertime experience for both New Yorkers and visitors, creating a shared sense of community through film against the backdrop of one of the city’s most iconic outdoor settings.”

This year’s presenting sponsor, Persol, will bring Italian Riviera-inspired experiences and activations to the park throughout the season.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive early with picnic blankets and cushions to secure a spot on the lawn. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Fornino, while guests may also bring their own food for picnics. Park officials noted that lawn chairs, dogs, glass bottles and outside alcohol are prohibited.
