A Honda Accord driver crashed into a Bronx McDonald’s on Saturday, smashing a gaping hole in the side of the place just feet from its drive-through window.
The sedan driver somehow went airborne, rocketing into the side of the Mickie D’s around 12:02 p.m. at Bruckner Blvd. and Morrison Ave. in Soundview.
The car left a hole in the brick facade, where its front end got wedged, according to the Citizen app, which posted video of the incident.
When responding officers arrived, no one was in the vehicle as both the driver and a passenger had fled, police said.
No injuries were reported. No arrests were made.
