DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — BRONX RESIDENT Hadrian Crichlow, 45, was sentenced Monday in federal court in Brooklyn to 210 months in prison for sex trafficking a minor, according to Joseph Nocella Jr., United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. U.S. District Judge Hector Gonzalez also ordered Crichlow to pay $12,000 restitution to the victim, who was 15 at the time of the abuse.
Crichlow forced the girl to meet with commercial sex customers multiple times per day in hotel rooms across the city and in other states, and to surrender all proceeds to him, Nocella said in a release. He controlled her through a combination of isolation, dependency, drugging and sexual violence, and prohibited her from using a cellphone until she escaped in October 2023.
“It is my hope that [this outcome] brings a measure of justice to the victim who endured these abuses,” Nocella said.
