A controversial Staten Island vigilante is using a Facebook page to shame bad parking. Staten Island Bad Parking has called out hundreds of parking jobs across the borough. The page says it targets fire lanes, sidewalks, crosswalks and other bad parking. Its creator says followers send tips, pics and complaints about repeat offenders. Posts have highlighted shopping plazas, the Staten Island Mall and other local parking trouble spots. Some commenters even say they park badly on purpose to end up on the page.
