BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — IT’S FIDO’S DAY to shine this Sunday on Montague Street, when the Brooklyn Heights Association holds its annual Dog Show during Montague  Open Streets. This feel-good neighborhood favorite celebrates the dogs who make the hood feel like home. The show starts at 1 p.m. and runs along Montague Street between Henry and Hicks, at the bleachers

Categories are: Best Trick; Looks Most Like Owner; Most Adorable Perfect Sized; Most Adorable Gentle Giants; Best Ol’ Pal and Cutest New Resident. Registration ends at noon on Wednesday so don’t waste a minute to enter your winning canine. Proceeds (after expenses) will be donated to the nonprofit Paws NY.

The Brooklyn Daily Eagle and the DeNiro Team at Brown Harris Stevens are sponsoring the Dog Show. Montague Open Streets is sponsored by the BHA, Montague BID, and New York City Department of Transportation.
