Romance may be brewing between Joshua Jackson and Olivia Burgess.
The Dawson’s Creek star, 47, and the French-American model were spotted strolling the streets of New York City hand-in-hand on Sunday, June 7.
The pair were seen smiling as they linked arms. Their outing came after Jackson attended the Tribeca Festival for the premiere of his and Katie Holmes‘ new movie Happy Hours.

On his summer night out with Burgess, Jackson donned an all-white getup while the model paired a black cami with gingham shorts.

The pair’s sighting comes months after fans speculated that Jackson and Holmes were dating. Rumors of a romance sparked when Holmes, 47, quietly liked comments suggesting she and Jackson “should be a couple” on an April 16 Instagram post, in which she shared a professional photo of the two to promote their romance film Happy Hour.
Ahead of the film’s premiere at the Tribeca Festival on Saturday, June 6, Holmes spoke to Variety about her on-screen reunion with her Dawson’s Creek costar.
“We hadn’t worked together in 25 years, and we’ve changed a lot,” she said, before noting they were still in tune with each other on set even after all these years.
“It’s like a shorthand that we quickly realize still exists,” Holmes continued. “We’ve always done well working off one another. He directs me, and I direct him without us even mentioning it.”
Jackson and Holmes dated for a year between 1998 and 1999, early in the filming of Dawson’s Creek. A representative for Holmes did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on the rumors of her and Jackson rekindling their relationship.
Jackson was previously married to Jodie Turner-Smith, with whom he shares one child, daughter Juno. The pair announced their split in 2023 and settled their divorce in May 2025.
