CLAYTON, New York (WWNY) – The Clayton Food & Wine Festival returns this weekend with more than 70 vendors showcasing New York State food and wine products.
The event runs Friday, June 12, through Sunday, June 14, at Cerow Recreation Park. This year’s festival features 18 new vendors, the most in recent years, according to Mike Hooson of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce.
The festival highlights New York State-made food and wine products from vendors across the state. Products include jams, jellies, maple products, food, and wine.
Friday hours are 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, the busiest day, runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door. Attendees receive free samples of products, and a check booth allows visitors to store purchases during the event.
Volunteer opportunities are available for one- to two-hour shifts. Volunteers receive a free ticket to the event. Positions include front door, check booth, and wine glass distribution. Those interested can call 315-686-3771.
