Texas Senator Roland Gutierrez is blasting New York City Mayor Mamdani after violence targeting Spurs fans in New York. In a video on X, Gutierrez said he would appreciate it if the mayor did anything in his power to get police and people in check. He said the attacks happened as fans traveled to New York for Games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals against the Knicks. Gutierrez also said, “We don’t do this to your people. We’re not going to do this to your people.”
