BROOKLYN, N.Y. (KLTV) — Former Van Vandal Hoss Brewer retired all three baserunners he faced in one inning of work in Brooklyn’s 3-0 loss to Frederick on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old right-hander entered the game in the ninth inning, got the first batter to ground out and struck out the next two.
Through 22 innings this season, Brewer (1-3) has 23 strikeouts and a 4.09 ERA.
Brooklyn (22-35) is in fifth place in its division. The Cyclones continue the series against Frederick on Wednesday at 5:40 p.m.
