The Baldwins’ Amagansett estate is back in the headlines—and the price keeps dropping.

The sprawling property has been on and off the market for nearly four years. First listed in 2022 for a lofty $29 million, the estate endured a series of price cuts before reaching $18.99 million in early 2024. Despite a personal video tour from Alec Baldwin showcasing the home many charms and family memories, no sale happened.

By fall 2024, the couple pulled the listing altogether, leading many to believe they changed plans to sell. But months later, the estate resurfaced with fresh photos and a renewed asking price of $21 million. Within weeks it had dropped to $19.99 million, and now the property has dipped back to $18.99 million.

Hilaria Baldwin has launched a social media campaign for the home, inviting her followers to help find a buyer for what she described as the family’s “piece of paradise”

Babe’s and Barney Greengrass

A new place drawing record crowds, Babe’s Diner in Sag Harbor, is red-hot.

Standing room doesn’t even begin to describe the crowds at this 8-seat “finer diner.” Neil Patrick Harris and his spouse David Burtka were so impressed, Harris took to Instagram to sing the praises of Babe’s. Later this summer, they will host the 25th annual
Midsummer Night Drinks on July 11 at their home in East Hampton (affectionately known as “Funhouse Farm”) in support of God’s Love We Deliver.

Adding to the mix, Babe’s on Sunday, July 5 will host Barney Greengrass — the legendary Upper West Side institution’s first-ever pop-up in its 118-year history. For one day only, Babe’s will turn into a Sag Harbor outpost of Barney Greengrass, with Gary Greengrass and his son Moe on hand and a menu built around whitefish salad and classic nova on bagels.

Golf Fever

The 126th United States Open Championship (June 18th-21st) may back up traffic on 27 East but that doesn’t quell the excitement for the upcoming golf tourney being held at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton. Al eyes are on Scottie Scheffler, who won at last year’s PGA Championship and Open Championship; the finals fall this year on Scheffler’s 30th birthday.

Village officials have created innovative ways of alleviating the traffic gridlock, including shuttles from nearby Riverhead and others from Agawam Park in the Village. The USGA and the Shinnecock Golf Club — considered to be the oldest links in America — have  partnered with the Village to install an outdoor Jumbotron in Lake Agawam Park, allowing residents and visitors to experience the excitement.

Go Knicks

Meanwhile, neighboring East Hampton put a Jumbotron up on Newtown Lane in the heart of the village last Friday night
