NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — The Empire State Building shined in bright gold and blue on Sunday night to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

The iconic show will mark 50 years on Monday.

In addition to the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center was also lit in “GMA” gold and blue.

From its first broadcast on Nov. 3, 1975, to today, “GMA” has delivered some of television’s most unforgettable moments, from being on the red carpet at the Oscars and on the field at the Super Bowl to candid moments with celebrities, travels around the United States and the world, and adrenaline-inducing adventures.
