A line of strong to severe storms is headed for the tri-state.

Our weather is likely to take a significant turn late Sunday, however.
Severe thunderstorm watches were issued ahead of the incoming storms likely to reach our area around 10 p.m. Damaging wind will be the main threat.
Hail and isolated flash flooding can’t be counted out, though.
Behind Sunday night’s front, much cooler air envelopes the tri-state, with high temperatures near 80 degrees Monday.
