MUJI – the lifestyle brand based in Japan – held its grand opening celebration on Friday, June 12. Located in the Tangram Mall in Flushing, adjacent to the Kokoro Cat Cafe, MUJI is considered an anchor store, spanning over 12,000 feet. It is the brand’s first ever location in Queens.

MUJI sells a variety of items, including stationery, home goods, aromas and diffusers, apparel, tote bags and more, Throughout the weekend, the store will give out exclusive MUJI x Tangram “My Tote” tote bags, and guests will be able to obtain a gacha token with the purchase of $75 or more.

June 12: The first 500 customers received a complimentary MUJI gift bag, which included a $10 MUJI gift card and complimentary Egg Tarts from TEAPULSE for MUJI members.
June 13: The first 500 customers received a complimentary MUJI gift bag, which included an exclusive mini MUJI pin, as well as complimentary Jasmine Lemon Tea and Strawberry Lemon Tea from TEAPULSE for MUJI members.
June 14: The first 500 customers received a complimentary MUJI gift bag, which included a mini Jute bag and complimentary Mango Sticky Rice Parfaits from Matcha Cafe Maiko for MUJI members.
There will also be limited time grand opening promotions and offers, including aroma diffusers at $30 off, body fit cushion and cover set for $199 and air circulator fan for $10 off.
