What’s new, New York City? Well, Jamie Lloyd’s production of Evita on Broadway is just a little stuck on you — and you’ll be smitten too. After debuting to incredible success at the London Palladium in 2025, Jamie Lloyd’s pulsating production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic is set to come to the Winter Garden Theatre in February 2027. And don’t cry for Rachel Zegler, who reprises her once-in-a-lifetime, Olivier Award-winning performance as Eva Perón.
A major talking point in London was the way in which “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” was performed on a balcony to crowds outside the theatre. While this won’t be replicated in NYC, Lloyd said in a statement, “I am really excited to explore a new idea, made especially for Broadway.”
