More than 44,000 New Yorkers voted early so far, BOE says

By the end of the day Monday, more than 44,000 New Yorkers had cast their ballots across the five boroughs through the first three days of early voting, according to the city’s Board of Elections.

Manhattan led the turnout, with a total of 19,216 ballots cast in the borough so far. Brooklyn follows with 11,438, then Queens with 8,389, the Bronx with 4,050 and Staten Island with 984.

Polls will be open for early voting through Sunday, June 21, and will reopen on Tuesday, June 23 for Election Day.
