Two Democratic candidates in the June primary vying for New York’s 13th Congressional District faced off in a 60-minute debate Tuesday on Spectrum News NY1.
The candidates who participated in the debate were incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat and Darializa Avila Chevalier.
The district comprises parts of Upper Manhattan, including Harlem and Inwood, and neighborhoods in the Bronx, including Kingsbridge Heights.
Early voting for the primary runs through Sunday, June 21, and Election Day is Tuesday, June 23.
