Assemblywoman Nily Rozic joined Queens Botanical Garden (QBG), Groundswell Community Mural Project, community members, and local leaders on June 12 for the official dedication of Flying, a new community-created mural developed through a collaborative design process with Garden staff, visitors, and neighborhood residents. Funded through Assemblywoman Rozic in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation, the mural celebrates nature, creativity, and community while transforming the future site of the Garden’s Education Center into a vibrant public art installation.
