Additional casting has been revealed for Twelve Hours with Tracy Letts, a daylong marathon at Circle in the Square Theatre staging five readings of the playwright’s work featuring star-studded casts. The performances will benefit the Circle in the Square Theatre School.
Dylan Mulvaney (SIX), Sam Tutty (Two Strangers…), Tibor Feldman (Enchanted), Dyllón Burnside (Pose), Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road), Shayvawn Webster (Happiness for Beginners), and Michael Genet (Spare Parts) will partake in the readings. They join the previously announced Karen Sours Albisua (The Bridge), Jason Biggs (American Pie), Beanie Feldstein (Booksmart), Joe Forbrich (Dispatches from Elsewhere), John Gallagher Jr. (Spring Awakening), Rory Hammond (The Last Five Years), Joe Holt (The Walking Dead: World Beyond), Kammy Ibarra, Jonathan Judge-Russo (Music City), Kevin Kilner (Raising Helen), Trevor Kluckman, Adam Langdon (Titus Andronicus), Libby Lee (Dancing at Lughnasa), Katrina Lenk (The Band’s Visit), Kelly Lester (The Baker’s Wife), Matthew Lillard (Scream), Terra Mackintosh (Law & Order), Eric William Morris (Fleishman Is in Trouble), Andrew Rothenberg (The Walking Dead), Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom), Milly Shapiro (Hereditary), Sandra Shipley (Anything Goes), Samantha Sloyan (Midnight Mass), Jeff Still (Dog Day Afternoon), and Adrienne Warren (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical). Directors will include Mark Armstrong, Benita de Wit, Victor Malana Maog, Jeanne Slater, and Eric Tucker. Casting is subject to change.
The marathon will begin with The Minutes at 11:05 AM, followed by Linda Vista at 12:50 PM, Killer Joe at 3:05 PM, and Man From Nebraska at 5:30 PM. Acts I and II of August: Osage County will run 7:45 PM through 9:45 PM, followed by a brief intermission until Act III begins at 10 PM.
First performed in 2014, the 12-Hour Festival has previously spotlighted the works of Beth Henley, John Patrick Shanley, and Leslye Headland; it was recently renamed for Alan Langdon, Animus company member and teacher/director/mentor to many in the Circle in the Square Theatre School and beyond.
Letts’ recent Broadway production of Bug—co-starring Carrie Coon and Namir Smallwood—is nominated for four 2026 Tony Awards, including Best Leading Actress in a Play (for Coon), Scenic Design (for Takeshi Kata), and Lighting Design (for Heather Gilbert). Winners will be named June 7 at Radio City Music Hall.
Full-day passes for the upcoming marathon are $90 in advance and $100 at the door; half-day passes are $70 in advance, $75 at the door. Student and senior discounts are available.
