One of the top remaining Class of 2026 recruits is now off the board.
On Sunday, Brooklyn native Jahda Swann committed to University of Central Florida.
A dazzling above rim finisher with big guard tactics at 6-foot-5, Swann was originally committed to Hofstra.
He spent his junior season at Thomas Jefferson HS, where he turned in several games of 30+ points while showing out as a stealth, multi-positional defender.
Swann culminated his career at St. James (VA) Academy, where he displayed consistency and an ability to impact games in a variety of ways.
Swann held offers from the likes of UNLV, Mississippi State, Providence, Kansas, George Mason and Manhattan throughout his recruitment process.
The Golden Knights are coming off a 21-12 overall campaign, one which culminated with a berth in the 2026 NCAA tournament.
Following the conclusion of the season, UCF head coach Johnny Dawkins penned a three-year extension, keeping him at the helm through the 2028-2029 season. Dawkins has registered back to back seasons of 20+ wins.
