Police are investigating a reported car theft on E Fordham Road and Webster Ave in the Fordham section of The Bronx on Sunday, June 21, that resulted in two injuries they said.
Police said that at around 5.30, police approached à vehicle that was suspected to have been stolen. They said the vehicle hit a sergeant at the scene and the vehicle occupant was shot. They said both the sergeant and the vehicle occupant were transported to hospital and are in stable condition.
One person at the scene said he heard one gunshot and then saw a police officer on the ground. The area falls within the 46 Pct.
