Early voting in New York City wrapped on Sunday with more than 170,000 New Yorkers casting their ballots across the five boroughs, according to the city’s Board of Elections.
In total, 172,743 check-ins were recorded during the early voting period between June 13 and June 21.

Manhattan led the turnout, with a total of 67,369 ballots cast. Brooklyn followed with 54,277, then Queens with 33,143. The Bronx saw 14,739 ballots, while Staten Island recorded 3,215.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani was among the early voters, casting his ballot on Saturday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. While has did not make an endorsement in the NY-12 race to replace Rep. Jerry Nadler, but he has endorsed candidates in other races.
Even after voting, the mayor would not share who he voted for in the race for NY-12.
Polls will reopen on Tuesday for New York’s primary. Voters are selecting candidates for Congress, New York state comptroller, state Senate, state Assembly and other offices.
