Carriage horse rides in Central Park are expected to resume Tuesday, nearly a week after an 18-year-old Romanch Mahajan was fatally thrown to the ground from a carriage.

The incident has renewed calls to end the practice. Alexander Kemp, administrative vice president at TWU Local 100, joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to talk more about the incident and the proposed legislation aiming to ban horse carriages.
