BAY RIDGE — FIVE PEOPLE WERE INJURED Friday afternoon after an 18-year-old woman driving a Jeep Wrangler lost control and crashed at Narrows Avenue and 81st Street, according to New12 New York. The Jeep struck a Nissan Sentra carrying a 65-year-old driver and 34-year-old passenger, then hit three parked cars and two 16-year-old girls walking nearby.

Both teens were taken to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn; one remains in critical condition. The others, including the Jeep driver and the Nissan’s occupants, were treated at Maimonides Medical Center and are expected to recover. The NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is reviewing the crash.
