Michael Bibi made sure New York had something extra to celebrate during Pacha New York’s opening weekend.
Taking over the decks for a sold-out show Saturday night, one of house music’s biggest stars opened his highly anticipated set with a booming “Go NY! Go NY! Go!” remix, paying tribute to the New York Knicks following their NBA championship triumph and immediately igniting the crowd inside the newly opened Brooklyn venue.
The performance marked the second night of Pacha New York’s inaugural weekend, which brought the iconic Ibiza-born brand back to the city for the first time in a decade. Following Solomun’s opening night set and ahead of Black Coffee’s Sunday finale, Bibi’s appearance quickly became one of the weekend’s defining moments.
Known for his infectious groove-driven sound and marathon performances, the British DJ has built a devoted global following both as a solo artist and as the founder of the influential Solid Grooves brand. His sold-out appearance showcased the artist-led, dancefloor-first experience Pacha New York hopes to establish during its first season in Brooklyn.
Fans packed the venue from wall to wall, dancing beneath Pacha’s signature cherries as Bibi guided the crowd through a high-energy set that lasted deep into the night. The atmosphere reflected the excitement surrounding both the return of Pacha to New York and the arrival of one of contemporary house music’s most sought-after performers.

Throughout opening weekend, Pacha New York welcomed a number of notable guests, including Pete Davidson, Haley Kalil, Deacon Phillippe, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Saweetie, Jadon Sancho, Ava Max, Kaylor Martin, Malik Yoba, Lameka Fox, Myles O’Neal, Ted Zhar, Matt Zingler, Alexa Zingler, Fabiola Baglieri, Gage Gomez, May Hong, Alejandro Speitzer, Leo Emanuel, Fletch, Savannah Lake, Fisher Smith, Chiara Morton, and Dien Kim.
Saturday’s sold-out performance was part of a historic opening weekend that introduced Pacha’s new Brooklyn home to New York nightlife. After Solomun launched the venue on Friday, Bibi kept the momentum going before Grammy Award-winning DJ Black Coffee closed the three-day celebration with another sold-out performance on Sunday, capping off one of the city’s biggest electronic music weekends of the summer.
