First up, a renovation partly opened up the parlor floor of this Bed Stuy brownstone, created an owner triplex over a large garden rental, and added a full-floor primary suite along with numerous bathrooms and outdoor spaces. This former Open House Pick had a change in brokers, a drop in price to $4.595 million, and is still available.
This early 20th century limestone in Park Slope has been renovated with a kitchen at the rear of the parlor floor. This former Open House Pick sold in February for $4.725 million, which was $30,000 over the listing price.
While it might not seem like an Italianate cottage at first glance, the silhouette of this Cypress Hills house gives a hint to the construction date as do a few details that remain on the inside of the wood frame dwelling. This former House of the Day sold in May for $1,332,500, which was $167,500 under the listing price.
Finally, this petite Park Slope one-bedroom was altered to expand the kitchen into the living room, giving a bit more cooking space. This former Co-op of the Day sold in June for $670,000, which was $20,000 over the asking price.
