For the past few years, talk about Hollywood “nepo babies” has been at an all-time high. From Jack Quaid to Zoë Kravitz, the world has adopted the term to refer to the children of stars who are following in their parents’ footsteps in the entertainment industry. But while the phenomenon is far from a new feat, no show exemplifies the “nepo baby” takeover quite like Bravo‘s Next Gen NYC.
Premiering its second season on June 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the series follows the offspring of Hollywood and Bravo stars as they navigate post-graduate and young adult life in the Big Apple. From daughters of Bravo legends to a newcomer who calls a two-time Golden Globe nominee “mom,” the cast is filled with stars with famous, and even scandalous, parents. Who Are Ariana Biermann’s Parents?

Ariana Biermann’s mom, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, also comes from the Bravo world as one of the original stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Although her biological father is Daniel Toce, she has no public relationship with him. Instead, she and her sister Brielle were formally adopted in 2013 by their mom’s second husband, NFL player Kroy Biermann.
Kim and Kroy were married for 11 years until Kim filed for divorce on May 8, 2023. According to documents obtained by TMZ, the couple’s date of separation was listed as April 30, 2023, with Kim stating that their marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
Kroy responded with his own filing, and the two immediately began battling over custody of their children. They briefly reconciled and dismissed the divorce, only to split again later. By 2025, Kroy had filed for divorce for a third time. Their divorce has been one of the messiest in Bravo history, with a custody battle, mounting financial debt, and accusations of abuse.

Series newcomer Rowan Henchy’s parents are actress Brooke Shields and director Chris Henchy. Her mom is the star of movies like Blue Lagoon, Pretty Baby, and as Gia Giudice notes in Next Gen NYC, she also played Miley Cyrus’ onscreen mom in Hannah Montana. Her dad, Chris Henchy, is a film director and producer. Some of his previous projects include being a producer in The Campaign, The Other Guys and Entourage.
Shields and Henchy have been married since 2001, and also share their youngest daughter, 20-year-old Grier Henchy.

Riley Burruss is the daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta star, actress and singer Kandi Burruss. Her dad is music executive and Block Entertainment founder Russell “Block” Spencer. Riley has been open about her struggles with her dad growing up, but they’re now working to mend that relationship.
“We were estranged for a while, clearly, and I decided this year that I want to make sure that my family is intact,” she explained in an episode of Heir Time with Reginae Carter on April 16, per Bravo. “To make sure that — like, I’m an adult now, I have to think down the line. When I have a family, I want to have grandparents to go to.”
“But the dynamic is really good now,” she continued. “We call each other. I just called him the other day, and I think he’s really open as well. So we’re really growing right now. We’re in the growing stages.”

Another Next Gen NYC star was destined for Bravo stardom! Gia Giudice’s mom is The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, while her dad is Teresa’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice.
Teresa and Joe were married for 20 years until their divorce in 2020. In addition to Gia, they also share three other daughters, Gabriella, 21, Milania, 20, and Audriana, 16. During their marriage, the former couple was indicted on 39 federal counts, including mail, wire, bank, and bankruptcy fraud, for falsifying loan applications and hiding assets.
Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison and had an early release from prison in 2015, while Joe was sentenced to 41 months and was released in 2019. After his release, he was taken into ICE custody, facing deportation. He now lives in The Bahamas and in his home country of Italy.
Teresa has since remarried Luis “Louie” Ruelas. The two tied the knot in New Jersey in 2022.

Brooks Marks is the last Bravo “nepo baby” on this list. His mom, the iconic Meredith Marks, is one of the original The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, as well as a jewelry designer, DJ, and entrepreneur.
She’s been married to her husband, Seth Marks, since 1996. In addition to Brooks, the couple also shares kids Reid, 29, and Chloe, 24, who also makes brief appearances on the show. As fans of RHOSLC know, Meredith and Seth separated in 2019 and filed for divorce, but reconciled during the first season of the show and have continued to work on their marriage ever since.
Seth is an executive and entrepreneur in the off-price retail and corporate turnaround industry, serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Wholesale Solutions at GA Group.

Ava Dash’s parents might not be from the Bravo world, but they sure are famous. Her dad is music mogul and Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash, while her mom is renowned fashion designer Rachel Roy. The two of them were married in 2005 and divorced in 2009. Together, they share Ava and her younger sister, Tallulah, 18.
In September 2025, Dash, who co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records with Jay-Z and Kareem “Biggs” Burke in 1994, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Per the Los Angeles Times, Dash owed $25,303,049.47 to as many as 49 creditors, with a majority of that (about $19.1 million) owed to the government in the form of taxes and other debts. He also owes nearly $648,000 in domestic support obligations to Roy and ex-girlfriend Cindy Morales, who he shares one child, the petition said. At the time, he claimed to have only $4,350 to his name, including $100 in cash, a $500 cellphone, and two guns worth $750.
Less than a year prior, in November 2024, the New York state government purchased Dash’s one-third share in Roc-A-Fella at auction for $1 million in an attempt to recoup the nearly $9 million he owes in back taxes, the New York Post reported.

On the show, Charlie compared his dad to Logan Roy from Succession. “My dad is the dad from that show,” he said, per RealityTea. “Just how badly one of the sons wants his approval and how little he gives a f—.”
Anwar and Charlie’s mom, Elizabeth Williams, were married and divorced when Charlie was only three years old. He lived with his mom, an art collector, until he was 10 before moving in with his father.
