BOROUGHWIDE — A WAVE OF reform-minded Democratic district leaders across Brooklyn won in Tuesday’s primary, led by the progressive group New Kings Democrats, according to NY1. The eight new district leaders, also called state committee members, could be bad news for the party’s current chair, Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn.
“This means new leadership for the Brooklyn Democratic Party,” Tony Melone, president of the New Kings Democrats, told NY1.
