The Clanton Lions Club crowned four new Chilton County Peach Queens this week to represent the peach farmers and the county’s most precious resource. The four pageants are a staple of the annual Chilton County Peach Festival every year, and now four new queens will have the chance to represent the farmers of the county for the next calendar year.

Parker Wilson was crowned the new Little Miss Peach Queen on June 20 to start the pageant festivities, followed by Ryleigh Green being named the Young Miss Peach Queen on June 22. Lanie Adams is the new Junior Miss Peach Queen, receiving the crown on June 23, and Kayleigh Payton is the new Miss Peach Queen for the next year after winning on June 25.

Payton was joined on the Miss Peach Queen court by first alternate Lauren Anna Lewellen, second alternate Lexie Kate Hayes, third alternate Sophia Jeansonne and fourth alternate Saydie Smith. Payton was named the casual wear winner of the pageant, Hayes won the Community Choice Award and Marley Holsomback was named Miss Congeniality.

Adams was also named the casual wear winner during the Junior Miss Peach Pageant. Adams was joined on the Junior Miss Peach court by first alternate Ellie Harrison, second alternate Jaylie Smith and third alternate Kinzley Baker. Taylor Kate Bean won the Community Choice Award, and Harper Cleckley was named Miss Congeniality.

Green was also the casual wear winner during the Young Miss Peach Pageant. Green was joined on the Young Miss Peach court by first alternate Aubrie Roberts, second alternate Rylie Lowery, third alternate Elliett Arnold and fourth alternate Ava Hayes. Ellie Clark won the Community Choice award at the pageant.

Wilson was also named the Community Choice Award winner of the Little Miss Peach Pageant.

Wilson was joined on the Little Miss Peach court by first alternate Adleigh Bice, second alternate Eleanor Barlow, third alternate and casual wear winner Jesslyn Little and fourth alternate Blakely Stough. Presley Mae Chapman was the color contest winner of the pageant.
