The World Cup is in full swing, and fans at some of the stadiums are starting to feel the heat.

Temperatures at Friday’s match in Atlanta are in the 90s, with a wave of heat expected in our area next week.

This is sparking conversations about heat safety and the health of fans and players.

Joshua DeVincenzo, the assistant director for education and training at the Columbia Climate School, joined “The Rush Hour” on Friday to share tips on how World Cup fans can protect their bodies from the heat.
