The New York Transit Museum is celebrating its 50-year anniversary with two new special exhibits.
“50 Years of Stories” highlights the surprising, eccentric and fascinating tales from the history of New York’s transit system. “Ode to the Orange Seats” gives a proper farewell to the orange and yellow seats in subway cars, which will soon be phased out.
Regina Shepherd, the acting director of the New York Transit Museum, joined NY1’s Samantha Liebman for more.
