RIVERDALE, The Bronx (PIX11) — Police are on the hunt for a person who dragged a teenage girl into a Bronx park and raped her, authorities said.
The 13-year-old girl was on board a BX9 bus on Tuesday around 10 p.m. when she was approached by an unknown person, according to police.

Both the girl and the unknown person disembarked in the area of Broadway and West 261 Street, after which the person grabbed the teen and dragged her into a wooded area inside Van Cortlandt Park, officials reported.
The person then sexually assaulted the girl and fled, authorities said.
Police released the following photo in connection with the incident.

The incident comes shortly after an 18-year-old was arrested in connection with the rape of a 17-year-old girl inside Ferry Point Park on June 14.
