The NYPD is searching for the man who shot a 63‑year‑old woman in the leg on Saturday morning in Fordham Heights.
The shooting happened around 9 a.m. in front of 2821 Briggs Ave.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
Police are looking for a dark‑skinned man in his 30s, last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and brown boots.
He fled in an unknown direction.
It is unclear whether the victim and the shooter knew each other.
