BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 13-year-old girl was raped inside a park in the Bronx on Tuesday night, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 10 p.m.

Police say the victim was approached by an unidentified individual on a northbound BX9 MTA bus.
Police say the individual followed her when she got off the bus near Broadway and West 261st Street, grabbed her, and dragged her inside Van Cortlandt Park and sexually assaulted her.
EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.

No arrests have been made as of early Monday morning.
