TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – People looking to move beyond sexual and domestic violence can find support through The Crisis Center, Inc.
They serve the greater Manhattan region – and they’re looking to serve up breakfast to you!
Executive director Kathy Ray visited Eye on NE Kansas with information about their upcoming fundraiser.
The Crisis Centers provides services to people in Clay, Geary, Marshall, Pottawatomie and Riley counties. Their upcoming breakfast fundraiser and silent auction will support their programs.
The menu for the event includes biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and beverages. Ray said the silent auction features more than 150 items donated by community members and businesses. K-State autographed sports items, tickets to K-State football games, and a variety of gift baskets are among goodies up for grabs.
The Breakfast Fundraiser & Silent Auction for The Crisis Center, Inc. runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11 at College Ave. UMC, 1609 College Ave., Manhattan.
