Gunfire causes more than $1,000 in damage to vehicle in Manhattan

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Gunfire caused more than $1,000 in damage to a vehicle in Manhattan, officials said.

Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property and criminal discharge of a firearm at approximately 10:11 a.m. on Monday in the 1300 block of Marlatt Avenue, on the north side of Manhattan.

A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported that an unknown person fired two gunshots into her parked vehicle.

The total estimated loss associated with this case is more than $1,000.

There were no reports of injuries in this case.
