Heavy fire was blowing from the windows of a commercial building in Manhattan early Tuesday when FDNY crews approached the scene.
Firefighters called for a second-alarm assignment about 4 a.m.
A firefighter suffered an injury while the operation was underway, abc7 reported.
No civilians were injured as the building was unoccupied when the fire started.
The cause is under investigation.
