Queen’s Cup field complete after final qualifiers emerge

The Thailand Professional Golf Association has announced that a total of 144 golfers will participate in the Queen’s Cup Thailand Championship 2026 after the last 30 players came through Monday’s qualifying round.
Former Asian Development Tour champion Tawit Polthai scored a five-under-par 66 to finish first in the qualifying round on Monday. The 32-year-old Tawit, an ADT winner in Malaysia last year, finished one stroke ahead of Peradol Panyathanasedh, Ashita Piemkulvanich and Kittiphop Chantang, who all shot four-under-par 67s.
Among the 30 qualifiers are four-time Asian Tour winner Chapchai Nirat, Sattaya Supupramai and former Thailand PGA Tour winner Donlaphatchai Niyomchon.
Participants will compete for the Royal Trophy of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana and a total prize fund of 15 million baht — the highest in the history of professional golf in Thailand — at Riverdale Golf Club in Pathum Thani, starting on Wednesday. The winner will pocket 2.1 million baht.
This year’s event has also attracted a large number of top-tier golfers, led by renowned professionals such as Prayad Marksaeng, Thaworn Wiratchant, Pavit Tangkamolprasert, Rattanon Wannasrichan and Khemkhon Limbhasut.
