It’s a love story! The weekend for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rumored nuptials is quickly approaching, and New York City has been busy preparing. Between security already patrolling Madison Square Garden and fans organizing potential watch parties of their own, the Fourth of July is the date on everyone’s lips (and not for the holiday). It might be the United States of America’s 250th birthday, but it’s Swift’s world we’re living in.
While all speculation will remain just that until the couple decides to share anything about their big day on their own terms, there are several signs that the Swift-Kelce wedding is, indeed, happening this weekend in NYC. Ahead, we take a look at them all.

Heightened security prepares at MSG
In the lead up to the long weekend, police personnel have been documented patrolling MSG, seemingly preparing for a major event. The large groups of security were seen outside of the Penn Station entrance days after reports that city officials confirmed a permit requesting the closure of the surrounding streets from July 2 to July 4 for a major event.
Also, according to Page Six, MSG employees have been prohibited from entering the arena during those dates. “MSG is off limits to all corporate employees this week,” their source said, though they “were not given a reason why it’s a no-go zone.”

Workers wear “Taylor Swift Carpenters” tees
Perhaps the biggest clues have come from photos of Swift’s own team—wearing uniforms reading “Taylor Swift Carpenters”—who have been setting up equipment on site. (The obvious nature of this, however, does beg the question of whether it’s too obvious, perhaps meant to throw the public off course.)

A red carpet, a castle, and a garden party are set up
Over the weekend, the “Taylor Swift Carpenters” and more workers rolled out a red carpet, before quickly dismantling it. Boxes labeled “Garden Party” also arrived at the arena, and, according to Page Six, a massive castle was supposedly being built inside the walls.

News of the rehearsal dinner is reportedly leaked
Yesterday, on June 30, Page Six revealed that Swift and Kelce’s rehearsal dinner will be held at the Infosys Theater on Thursday, July 2. The theater, a 5,600-seat venue within MSG, has previously hosted the likes of Elton John, Diana Ross, and Bob Dylan, though always for performances. Its secure location, the source explained, will help keep the event private.
Travis is seen in NYC
Of course, none of this would mean anything if the bride and groom weren’t actually in NYC. Yesterday, on June 30, images of Kelce jogging in the city were shared via Deuxmoi, confirming the NFL player’s location.
