A teen was killed Tuesday riding on the back of a moped was killed in a crash on a Brooklyn jetty, police said Wednesday.
It was the second time in two days a teen was killed on the back of a moped in the city.
The latest victim was on a ZNEN moped when the 17-year-old boy operating it lost control on a jetty in Bush Terminal Park near First Ave. and 47th St. in Sunset Park about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday
The victim was thrown from the moped by the impact and landed on the ground, suffering a massive head injury.
Medics rushed him to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn a few blocks away but doctors were unable to save him.

Cops on Wednesday were trying to identify the victim, who is believed to be a teenager.
The moped’s operator was not hurt. He told cops he doesn’t know the victim’s full name or address, a police source said. Cops are trying to determine the victim’s identity.
A 13-year-old boy riding on the back of a moped was killed in Queens Monday afternoon when his friend slammed into an open car door.
The moped’s operator, also 13, had swerved to try to avoid colliding with the door opened by the driver of a parked vehicle on 162nd St. near 45th Ave. in Flushing when the scooter collided with a truck about 12:35 p.m., cops said.
Video of the crash shows the teen driver was unable to avoid the door, which he slammed into before veering the scooter into the trailer of a six-wheel box truck, whose driver, like the moped, was heading south on 162nd St.
The video then shows both teens falling under the trailer as the truck’s wheels rumble over the scooter.

Medics rushed both teens to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens, where Christopher Cabrera died. The boy who was operating the moped is expected to recover, police said.
No charges were immediately filed.
