(York, Pennsylvania) – The Staten Island FerryHawks visit York Wednesday night as the Atlantic League’s first-half stretch winds down and the club looks to carry sharper baseball into July.
The league schedule lists Staten Island at York for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, with another road matchup against York set for Thursday as the first-half marker arrives. For the FerryHawks, the series is a chance to steady the road form before coming back to Staten Island.
The next home stretch begins July 7 against the High Point Rockers at SIUH Community Park, giving the club a full series to reconnect with fans after the road trip. That homestand also gives the organization a chance to build energy around the new Wally Backman era.
The standings will matter, but the bigger immediate goal is clean, competitive baseball. Staten Island needs crisp pitching, sharper defense and enough timely hitting to make this road series feel like a step into a stronger second half.
