Authorities are on the hunt for a brute who beat a 74-year-old woman in the Bronx last month after a dispute over a bottle recycling machine.
According to police sources, the incident took place at around 1 p.m. on June 21 near the Fine Fare supermarket in front of 49 East Mount Eden Ave. The victim was waiting in line to exchange bottles for cash at the machine when the suspect barged in front of her and attempted to cut her in line.

This resulted in a verbal dispute that only ended when the perpetrator pushed her to the ground and began raining punches down on her. Cops from the 44th Precinct raced to the scene and transported the victim to BronxCare Health System themselves, where she was listed in stable condition.
The suspect, who was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and pushing a shopping cart fled on foot. No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
