MOUNT EDEN, Bronx (PIX11) — The NYPD is asking for help in finding an individual accused of assaulting an elderly woman in the Bronx.
The incident happened around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, in front of 49 East Mount Eden Avenue.
According to authorities, an unidentified individual was engaged in a verbal dispute with a 74-year-old woman. During the dispute, the individual threw her on the ground and punched her multiple times.
NYPD officers transported the woman to a local hospital in stable condition.
After the incident, the individual was able to run away, according to police.
