MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Cash and tools were among the items reported to have been stolen after a Manhattan lumber store was burglarized, officials said.
The burglary was reported around 8:10 a.m. Monday at the Mead Lumber store, located in the 100 block of S. Seth Child Road.
Riley County police said an unknown person broke into the business and took money from the register, along with various tools from the store.

The estimated total loss in the break-in was listed at $2,100.
